Our Host Families are experienced, warm, caring and friendly, and enjoy welcoming students into their homes! They provide students with a renowned Irish welcome and warm hospitality. In addition to providing accommodation, meals and some transport, they also help students to settle in and learn about the local area and day-today life in Ireland.
LXI's host families have THREE unique selling points
1) Each students experiences their own single room occupancy bedroom
2) Each student gets lifts to and from work or school daily
3) Each student gets lifts to and from the programs Wednesday night social evening and Saturdays Cultural Tour.
This service along with full board three meals a day is unheard of amongst any other Language Business in Ireland or the rest of Europe.
Some of our Host families are working with LXI for over15yrs and many of them are still in contact with previous years students going back 10years.

By staying with a Host Family, students are immersed in Irish daily life, providing an opportunity to practice and improve their conversational English language skills.
All LXI Host families are screened before use and after each program students complete an evaluation - so our ISO 9001 Quality Certification can be maintained for the 12th year in a row. We consistently receive very positive feedback from teachers and students about their Host Family experiences in our evaluation form. Language Xchange Ireland are an ISO9001 Quality Assured Business.
